I’ve had my AEG oven at the start of this year, And from beginning to end it is a wonderful oven. Excellent range of cooking options Everything cooks perfectly. Even heat distribution .

• Good to have the reminders to clean the oven. (Read your instructions re what to do with shelves & brackets before letting it do a pyrolytic clean). Once you get the hang of removing & returning the “oven furniture” a piece of cake.

• The pull out extenders for the shelf racks are a boon. No more burns from reaching into a hot oven.

• Plus the fan stops when you open the oven door so the hot air doesn’t blast into your face & it saves on unnecessary power wastage!! No more burnt offerings just succulent meals!

This is the second similar AEG device we have purchased. The first one, after many years of good service, showed a problem with the programmer, so we bought another (latest) similar one. During the reinstallation, previous it turned out to be good, so we kept both because we are very satisfied with both.

Second AEG dishwasher with comfort-lift - first was sold with previous house and second is in our new build. It is an integrated version and has a much better approach to how the integrated panels fit, making it look great and function, including unobstructed light on the floor showing status. The comfort lift is just brilliant! The wash cycles perform very well. It is used daily and no issues, through the maintenance warning lights are a bit cryptic and you do need to check the manual for button combinations to do certain functions, such as a clean or maintenance cycle.

Bought this about a month ago and it washes better than expected. When you use the app there are a heap more features/selections to choose from for washing. It’s far superior than my last front loader! I have also had nothing but a positive experience with the product, delivery and installation!

The oven is straight forward to use when understanding how to change settings. I have trialled many of the modes but it has been challenging as the instruction manual and online videos are not specific as to how to use these modes. I think this is where there needs to be a massive improvement for this product. Essentially I am teaching myself as the manual and website are not very clear as to how to use certain modes and there is misleading information in the instruction manual. (too much to say here). Website is very deficient compared with the Miele and NEFF websites around how to use various modes for different food preparation. Would appreciate more videos on line that explain what and why they have set a certain mode rather than just demonstraing how to put food in the oven. Also many of the videos are for ovens other than this mode and seem to be based in the UK. AEG app is not available to use in Australia, which was a disappointment. Overall I think the oven will be excellent but will take a long period of learning because the resources are not, unfortunately, very helpful. I attended the demonstrations prior to and after purchasing the oven, but the chef is busy demonstrating the oven making it difficult for me to ask questions as I did not wish to put other prospective buyers off purchasing the oven. I realise this is not an overall positive review but I am being honest and suggesting how to improve this product.
